Arab policemen arrested two Jews, including a prominent spokesman in Samaria, for allegedly bowing down and praying on the Temple Mount Sunday morning.

Shomron (Samaria) Liaison Spokesman David Ha’Ivri told Arutz Sheva, “We were in a group of 25 men performing the mitzvah of being seen on the Temple Mount during the Sukkot holiday.

“Suddenly, two policemen said a friend and I were bowing down, which they say is forbidden.” Ha’Ivri said the policemen were non-Jews and, responding to Arutz Sheva, identified them as Arabs.

“I told the policemen, ‘Look, there are Arab watch guards here, and they are not making a fuss about it.’ The policemen replied, 'It is forbidden to bow down, and we are just doing our job.'”

He added, “Can you imagine being indicted for bowing down?”

The Feast of Booths/ Sukkot is almost over, and every year I am amazed at the joy released during this week of rejoicing. I remember one year, I was looking out of my hotel window in Jerusalem watching people dancing in a huge sukkah on the roof of their building. The joy and laughter could be heard across the rooftops! It is a season when we recognize all our blessings and the good hand of G-d on our lives and our hearts are filled with thanksgiving.
To anyone who reads or listens to the daily news, this appears to be absurd. Israel seems singled out by the world’s global organizations as the number #1 enemy of the entire planet!
THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A SINGLE RESOLUTION BY THE U.N. ABOUT THE DECADES OF HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS  (BOTH CIVIL AND POLITICAL) OF THE 1.3 BILLION PEOPLE LIVING IN CHINA.

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A SINGLE U.N. RESOLUTION ADDRESSING THE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS OF WOMEN OR NON-MUSLIMS IN SAUDI ARABIA.

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A RESOLUTION ADDRESSING THE STONING OF WOMAN OR CRUCIFIXIONS MANDATED IN THE IRANIAN COURT SYSTEM.

Yet, every year the United Nations bodies are required to produce at least 25 reports on “alleged human rights violations” BY ISRAEL!

During the United Nation’s first 42 years of its 690 resolutions, 429 were specifically against Israel.
Since the U.N. began, at least one Arab nation has continually sat on the Security Council – ISRAEL is the ONLY member nation that is forbidden to sit on the U.N. Security Council!

The U.N. Human Rights Council targeted Israel for human rights violations in their Goldstone Report. ISRAEL was going after TERRORISTS who had launched 12,000 rockets on ISRAELI CIVILIANS in southern Israel!

UNESCO is in charge of perserving HISTORICAL SITES. In a 44-1 vote, they recently decided THE CAVE OF THE PATRIARCHS (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and RACHEL’S TOMB are an “integral part of the occupied Palestinian territories”. Israel was warned that it must not violate international law by claiming the sites are their’s!

As revolutions continue in the nations surrounding ISRAEL, weaponry is being transported to be used against her. 20,000 advanced missiles disappeared during Libya’s uprising only to be found in Gaza! The international community says nothing!

So it really is amazing to see Israelis celebrating with thanksgiving and joy despite the attack on its existence. May the G-d of Israel watch over His word today in Psalm 20 :

                                              May the Lord answer you
                                  When you are in distress
                                  May the name of the G-d of Jacob protect you!
                                              May He send you help from the sanctuary
                                  And grant you support from Zion.
                                  May He remember all your sacrifices
                                  And accept your burnt offerings.
                                  May He give you the desires of your heart
                                  And make all your plans succeed.

                                  We will shout for joy when you are victorious
                                  And we will lift up our banners
                                  In the name of our G-d.
                                  May the Lord grant all your requests.

                                  Now I know the Lord saves His anointed;
                                  He answers him from His holy heaven
                                  With the saving power of His right hand.
                                  Some trust in chariots and some in horses
                                  But we trust in the name of the Lord our G-d.
                                  They are brought to their knees and fall,

A REAL NO BRAINER

I have a very close friend who was born in Los Angeles, California and his passport says his place of birth is the U.S.A. My mother was born in New York City in the U.S.A. and her passport says her place of birth is  the U.S.A.. My husband was born in Oakland, California and his passport says his place of birth is  the U.S.A.  In fact, on all their passports it says United States of America!

Uh, does that surprise any of you? It shouldn’t!

 What should be a surprise is if you are a United States citizen born in Jerusalem, Israel (which happens to be the capital of the nation) you cannot put “Israel” as the nation of your birth. Are you scratching your head? Are you rereading this thinking it’s a typo? Are you trying to find the punch line of a bad joke?

 Sadly, Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, has filed a legal brief with the Supreme Court in the U.S.A. urging that American citizens born in Jerusalem, Israel have “Jerusalem” listed as the place of birth on their passports, not Jerusalem, Israel!  What would this look like if it was applied anywhere else in the world? – Tokyo? Beijing? Addis Ababa? Some people might even ask, “Where is the nation of Addis Ababa?” (The capital of Ethiopia) Of course, this policy applies to no other city or nation in the world and is simply an attempt to ignore the fact that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

 What is even more puzzling is that Hilary Clinton , as senator from New York in 2002, supported a law that identified “Jerusalem” as the capital of Israel. Personally, I think that is a no brainer, but what is amazing is that 9 years later, Mrs. Clinton wants to ignore the fact that as a member of Congress she instructed the State Department to “record the place of birth as Israel” in passports of American children born in Israel if their parents request it. I guess the law was necessary for parents who were not sure what nation Jerusalem was in?

 Now the real question is not where Jerusalem is, but why did Hilary Clinton change her mind. Why would the United States Supreme Court even bother with hearing the case? Would this ever happen with any other capital of any other nation?

 This is clearly a group of confused individuals who failed Geography 101! In fact, they even failed World History 101 because “Jerusalem” has NEVER BEEN THE CAPITAL OF ANY OTHER NATION BESIDES ISRAEL!

I THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH POSTING THIS WHOLE ARTICLE. FOR SOME REASON, IN MY MIND, I DO NOT PUT KOREANS, CHRISTIANS AND ORTHODOX JEWS IN THE SAME “CLUB”…..NOT EVEN THE SAME PAGE! THIS ARTICLE IS VERY ENCOURAGING AND DEFINITELY CAUSES A MOMENT TO THINK AND REFLECT ON WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD.

Thousands Celebrate Israel in Seoul, Korea Contact: CJCUC Media Department, 516-882-3220     SEOUL, Korea, Sept. 21, 2011  -- The Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding and Cooperation's Executive Director, David Nekrutman, addressed thousands of Korean Christians celebrating Israel in front of Seoul City Hall last Tuesday. "People like you and others who have personally touched my life have shown me a world where Christians are indeed our 'Watchmen on the Wall,'" Nekrutman said. He added, "The people of Israel appreciate your support. It is the reason why I stand here today in fellowship with you." This was the first event held by Korean Christians to demonstrate their support for Israel at an official governmental site in the nation's capital. Coordinated by a coalition of Christian organizations and churches called the Wind of Yeshua, event participants committed "to consistently pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that Israel's capital will not be divided by others." A Proclamation for the Peace of Israel and Nations was read asserting that "God entrusted the stewardship of the land of Israel to the Jewish people...and we stand along with both Jewish and Palestinian people to pursue true peace." For a majority of attendees, this was the first time meeting and interacting with an orthodox Jew from Israel. Of the nearly 49 million people living in South Korea, Christians make up 29% of the population. A growing number of these Christians see modern Israel as biblically significant. "I am truly honored to be invited to this historical event and see first-hand a miracle of God that is transforming the hearts of Christians in Korea to advocate for the State of Israel and its people," Nekrutman commented. After seeing Rabbi Shlomo Riskin at the Glenn Beck "Restoring Courage" events in Israel last month and upon receiving the warm recommendation of Reverend Steven Khoury, Pastors Joseph and Christine Koo invited David Nekrutman to the event in Seoul. "Listening to the wonderful work CJCUC is doing with the Christian Arab world in Israel from a leading Evangelical Palestinian, we felt it necessary to invite CJCUC to share in our event in Seoul," Koo said.

THIS IS SAID IN REFERENCE TO THE HOLOCAUST IN WHICH OVER 6 MILLION JEWS WERE SENSELY MURDERED BY HATEFUL PEOPLE. MOST OF THESE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT MANKIND HAS BEEN WOKEN UP AND WOULD NEVER BE SO DUPED AGAIN. SADLY, THEY ARE WRONG.
