ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION - Why is it such a problem in Israel and the United States?

Is it just me? Or does anyone else ever wonder why despite Israel’s struggles with violence and terrorism and America’s failing economy, people from all over the world are still willing to risk their lives and enter these nations illegally!

We never read about “massive” floods of immigrants into China, or India or Russia!
In fact, many countries make it “impossible” to leave, forcing their own citizens to stay in the nation against their will.

Ever wonder what it is that makes these two nations so attractive?

Why do people risk their lives on boats, rafts, walking days through hostile deserts to be smuggled into Israel? America?

Why do people come as visitors, yet never leave, forfeiting opportunities to see their families again back in their native lands?

Both countries get pretty bad international press. They are often written about as the “enemy” of the world, the problem, even America’s current President travels the world apologizing for his nation, yet people keep coming. So great is the influx of people who illegally enter America and Israel that both nations are now facing serious social and economic problems.

There is a huge demand placed on the “Goodwill” of both nations beyond what they are able to do.

As is the case in all nations, America and Israel have laws that have been democratically determined to establish criteria for people from other nations to live legally within their borders. These laws help to keep the native citizens safe and help avoid huge demands on the economy. They also help preserve the qualities unique to each culture and are far more liberal than most countries.

Both America and Israel have their foundations in the Bible. Is it possible that this may be the root of the attraction? Of course, not everyone would recognize that, but, if we dig deep enough we may find that principles from G-d’s word have helped make these two nations become magnets to hurting people throughout the world.

So let’s look beyond “job opportunities” or “health care” or even “freedom” to why these three things even factor into the equation.
Nature and the Bible both present clear laws about reaping and sowing. Anyone who has ever planted a seed can tell you the plant that grows from that seed is identical to the plant the seed comes from and contains even more seeds for planting.  For example, an apple seed produces an apple tree with hundreds of apples that have hundreds of seeds!

When citizens of a nation believe this principle, whether it is applied to agriculture or finances or benevolence they will prosper.

Ever ask why the tiny nation of Israel was one of the first nations to fly medical surgical units across the Atlantic to Haiti after the devastating earthquake?

Ever ask why America trains certain groups to bring crisis relief to hurt areas of the world?

Just wondering……where were the wealthy Saudis when Haiti was suffering? Where were the industrialized Chinese?

Another principle in G-d’s Word that greatly affects the culture of both America and Israel is their foundation is the 10 Commandments.  These provide a moral structure for how people respond to G-d and how they treat each other.

Now, I totally understand that both societies have stretched the limits in recent years regarding these laws, and some people would vote to abandon them, yet they still stand as the basis of the law in both nations and have proven to be a beneficial foundation from which to build healthy communities and cultures. In fact, so healthy that thousands of refugees want to live under their umbrella.

Yes, freedom is a real attraction to people who come from nations where it does not exist, however, freedom in itself, without some standard of right and wrong will result in greater oppression and tyranny. History has proven this to be true.

I am not in any way saying America and Israel are perfect nations……is there one? Can there ever be one if imperfect people are governing? But, we must ask ourselves what is the attraction? Why against all bad reports concerning these two nations do the people keep coming?
It is not just money! The Arab nations are rich in oil money, they have gold dripping in their market places.
Opportunities? Maybe. There are biblical principles about hard work that
G-d watches over to enforce, like in Proverbs 14, ALL HARD WORK BRINGS A PROFIT or Proverbs 10, THE HAND OF THE DILIGENT MAKES RICH.  Hard work is surely what has caused Israel to become a leading nation to invest in, in only 64 short years.
The opportunity to work hard is also what has attracted to many people to come to Israel and to America. However, maybe the most attractive foundation to both cultures is the value placed on every life. This permeating truth is found throughout the Bible, but beautifully expressed in Psalm 139.

This is the motivation behind rescue aid, medical aid, educational assistance, and many other benevolent actions that are core to the heart of both Israelis and Americans.

Obviously, neither country can ignore immigration laws. For the protection of their legal citizens, laws must be enforced regarding how people enter Israel and the United States or any other country.

But, it is impossible to any longer ignore the attraction these two nations have and the lack of attraction it’s enemies have. It is time for the world to recognize that Biblical principles work in life. They produce healthy, prosperous societies that have opportunities and reward hard work and achievement. Maybe if other nations followed Israel and the United State’s examples, their citizens would stop risking all to leave their countries, and become key players to its success!

SUICIDE BOMBERS WANTED

Like many Americans, I enjoy shopping for bargains, things that cost less than their real value. I love the popular on line classified ads from Craigslist. We have actually purchased great appliances and sound equipment from that website. Usually ads for pets, jobs, home stuff is very popular and hundreds of ads are added and answered daily.

What do you think would happen if Craigslist had ads in the “Jobs” section that read:

Volunteers needed who have experience in planning mass murder, great killing and slaughter. We are interested in prospective volunteers willing to commit suicide with the hope of massacring multitudes of others in Europe and America. If interested please contact – hml/cre/67@jobs.craigslist.org  Past experience is not necessary.

In America, this is still illegal, but it does exist in Yemen and on the internet!

Sadly, Al-Qaeda has posted online recruitment through advertisements on the internet!

They are looking for “volunteers” to especially target the U.S., Israel and France.
Obviously, the aim is to kill yourself and take a bunch of others along who do not believe what you believe.

So what exactly would the interested party believe?

I sincerely thought about this. I know some people end their lives because of great sadness and depression. It is tragic and certainly not what their creator would want for them.

Maybe those who volunteer fall into this category? They have no hope? They feel like failures?

Would any of them ever ask, “why don’t those writing the ads volunteer?”

Seems like if you feel so strongly about the “cause” you would volunteer!

Then there’s the question what value does your god place on your life?

Are you just a tool for him to wage destruction?

Didn’t he make you in his image? Or does your god say something different?

Didn’t he make you to love him? Worship him? Be an example of who he is to others?

What exactly is the character of this god?

The G-d of Israel says through David (Psalm 139) that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You were knit together by G-d!

That makes you sooooo valuable to Him. That makes you “the apple of His eye!”

He made each of us with a plan. Jeremiah says (29:11) the plan is good to give us a future and a hope!

I sincerely hope someone reads this before they read Al Qaeda’s ad.

THE NEWEST CRAZE IN EGYPT?

How would the world respond if the top song of Israel was about destroying the Palestinians or eliminating Palestine from the map?

How would the U.N. respond?
How would the Arab league respond?
-Formal apologies would be demanded and world sentiment would be broadcast
against Israel and against the Jewish people.
-The song would have to be removed from all media sources as to no longer offend
             the “Palestinian” people.

To add to insult, what if the song was called – “I Love Palestine” but the words that followed were just the opposite?

-      May Palestine be destroyed.

May it be wiped off the map.

May a wall fall on it.

May it disappear from the universe.

God please have it banished.

May it dangle from a noose.

May I see it burning. Amen

I will pour gasoline on it…..

May it be targeted

May it go up in flames that will never subside.

May it destroy itself.

May we never hear of it again.
Egyptian singer, Amr El Masry, sings theses exact words about Israel in his Egyptian “hit” song.

http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/3451.htm

It’s quite a contrast from Israel’s singer of songs, King David. In 2 Samuel, chapter 23 G-d says He raised David up to sing by His Spirit the song of Israel.  Obviously that doesn’t include wiping it out so that it no longer exists!

In Psalm 65, verse 9, David sings: You care for the land and water it; You enrich it abundantly.*

And in Psalm 69, verses 35-36 he sings: For G-d will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah.  Then people will settle thee and possess it; the children of his servants will inherit it, and those who love his name will dwell there.

David sings specifically about peace not destruction. Psalm 122, verses 6-9 are almost the direct opposite of what Amr El Masry sings in his song:

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; May those who love you be secure.
May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.

For the sake of my brothers and friends I will say, “Peace within you.”\
For the sake of the house of the Lord our G-d. I will seek your prosperity.

In Psalm 51, David says:

 In your good pleasure make Zion prosper;
Build up the walls of Jerusalem.
What a contrast to walls falling upon her!

Who can explain why words of hatred and anger against Israel are sung in a “top hit “ song?

Maybe this is really nothing new.  Maybe this is something that has existed for a very long time, but has remained repressed.

After Israel became a nation again in May of 1948, bombs were set off in the Jewish Quarter of Cairo killing more than 70 Jews and wounding nearly 200.

In 1956, the Sinai campaign was used as an excuse to expell 25,000 Egyptian Jews from Egypt while confiscating their property.  At that time, more than 1000 Egyptian Jews were sent to prison or detention camps.

On November 23, 1956 the Minister of Religious Affairs had a proclamation he signed read aloud in mosques throughout Egypt proclaiming “ALL JEWS ARE ZIONISTS AND ENEMIES OF THE STATE.”  As Egyptian Jews were ordered to leave, they were only allowed to take one suitcase and small amounts of cash.

Egyptian Jews were forced to sign documents  “donating" their property to the Egyptian government.  Hostages were taken to insure no one spoke out against the Egyptian government.  Leopold Gleim, the head of the Gestapo in Occupied Poland controlled the Egyptian Secret Police at that time.

So, it would appear that this “hit” song is NOT a NEW song, but a rather old one that strongly contradicts the song sung by G-d’s singer, King David.

Earliest Evidence of Bethlehem Found in Archaeological Dig

From Israel Antiquities Authorities

The first ancient artifact constituting tangible evidence of the existence of the city of Bethlehem, which is mentioned in the Bible, was recently discovered in Jerusalem.

A bulla measuring c. 1.5 cm was found during the sifting of soil removed from archaeological excavations the Israel Antiquities Authority is carrying out in the City of David. The sifting is underwritten by the 'Ir David Foundation' in a project being conducted in the Emek Tzurim National Park.

A bulla is a piece of clay that was used for sealing a document or object. The bulla was impressed with the seal of the person who sent the document or object, and its integrity was evidence the document or object was not opened by anyone unauthorized to do so.

Three lines of ancient Hebrew script appear on the bulla:
בשבעת Bishv'at
בת לחם Bat Lechem
[למל]ך [Lemel]ekh

According to Eli Shukron, director of the excavation on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, “it seems that in the seventh year of the reign of a king (it is unclear if the king referred to here is Hezekiah, Manasseh or Josiah), a shipment was dispatched from Bethlehem to the king in Jerusalem. The bulla we found belongs to the group of “fiscal” bullae – administrative bullae used to seal tax shipments remitted to the taxation system of the Kingdom of Judah in the late eighth and seventh centuries BCE. The tax could have been paid in the form of silver or agricultural produce such as wine or wheat”. Shukron emphasizes,” this is the first time the name Bethlehem appears outside the Bible, in an inscription from the First Temple period, which proves that Bethlehem was indeed a city in the Kingdom of Judah, and possibly also in earlier periods”.
In the Bible Bethlehem is first mentioned in the verse “in Ephrath, which is Bethlehem”, and it was on the way there that Rachel died and it is where she was buried (Genesis 35:19; 48:7). The descendants of Judah settled there, among them the family of Boaz (Book of Ruth).
I wonder what the former Palestinian Mufti would make of this? He was quite emphatic that there is no archaeological evidence that Jews were in Jerusalem in ancient times.

IRANIAN FLIES STAR OF DAVID FLAG FOR ISRAEL

Fled Iran: Ali Ramezan Fled Iran: Ali Ramezan

By Jonathan Kalmus, May 17, 2012
Meet the former Iranian soldier who flies the Israeli flag above his north Manchester home, having fled torture in his home country.
Ali Ramezan is an unlikely Israel supporter, but the 47-year-old, who fought in the Iran-Iraq war, has turned his back on Iran.
He has now been granted residency in the UK after 11 years as an asylum-seeker. "I only watched an anti-government protest, but I was arrested. I have relatives who go out shouting, 'Death to America', 'Death to Israel'. I realised it was brainwashing."
In 1999, Mr Ramezan, a lorry driver, is currently gathering witnesses to mount a legal challenge in the Iranian courts over his wife and son whom, he claims, he was forced to leave behind.
In the meantime, Mr Ramezan vents his frustration by flying Israeli and US flags from his home, an odd protest in his neighbourhood, the mainly Muslim area of Cheetham Hill.
"People have said I could be firebombed but I'm not scared to fly my flags. In Iran they would hang you."
